Lamia Stellata is in Valle d’Itria at 400 m. above sea level, a valley famous for its trulli, typical old buildings in the shape of an inverted cone (Unesco World Heritage Site) and for its rural landscape of red earth, large expanses of centenary olive trees, of Mediterranean scrub and woods.
It lies between the Adriatic and Ionian seas, full of beaches and rocks, and is always breezed by sea.
The meeting of all these elements creates the special microclimate with a considerable thermal variations between day and night that make this place healthy, fresh and ventilated.

It is a protected marine area that offers visitors a very rich natural and marine heritage
with also the recovery center of sea turtles. Torre Guaceto is the first Italian protected area to be awarded the Blue Park honor Award. The reserve offers some swimming areas.
